My First UFO Experience – Sao Miguel Island 16 October 2008

UFO? I took the following picture in the mid Atlantic, on Sao Miguel Island – above Sete Cidades Lake (16 Oct 08, 10.41am local time, ISO 100, 12Megapixels) . I didn’t actually see the object, and only noticed it when checking the pictures later.

Ever the cynic, I am inclined to think that it was a spec of dust on the lens, or some reflection (of a rain drop, perhaps?) – still, I’d be neglecting my geeky civil duties, to report any unidentified FO or any UF object, so here it is:
