it is a sad reality – reckless driving – unfortunate that her family has to experience such heartache becuase of what she felt like doing – her ignorance is worth nothing – she is gone and her family has to wonder what made her do what she did – i do sympathise for the fact that some sick freak sent those pics to gher fam that cold and just heartless

i watched my dad shoot almost my whole family then shoot himself and i watched it allhappen i know what that family is going thru.

I imagine that for some people who willingly drive recklessly and do it around other motorists on the road, it could be helpful for them to be exposed to something like this (fatal crash images) as an educational tool. Sometimes it takes something that graphic to get it through to people that this is what happens to people in traffic collisions.. we just don’t typically see it. However, I honestly do not understand what kind of person, or lack thereof, would send graphic pictures of a deceased person to their family members. That is completely inappropriate.

This is truly a sad story…both the original events and their aftermath. In an update, it was recently ruled by an appellate court that the family *can* in fact proceed with their lawsuit against the California Highway Patrol for the leaking of the accident photos. I sincerely hope that true justice is served in this case, and that this horrific mishandling of sensitive information will lead to a rewriting of laws governing crime scene evidence – so that the immense, unimaginable pain endured by the Catsouras clan will never befall another family.

Such photos are concrete proof of the fragility of life and should be seen from time to time. The ONLY thing that is REALLY wrong in all this is the animals that sent e-mails to the family rubbing salt into their wounds.

I feel sorry the family knowing that there are sick people who dont really have any feelings knowing their family just passed..who cares if she was spoiled..thats their life..everyone is spoiled in their own way..she IS a beautiful girl and one day the lord will punish all these cruel people..i lost a loved one in a car accident and i would hate to see images of them on the internet because some sick people dont have a life of their own!..my heart goes out to the catsouras family
